Laboratory and Research Facilities |
Use of computers is crucial particularly for applied
research in statistics. The department has its own computer
facilities located at two laboratories. These labs are open to
the use of the faculty and the students of the department. The
existing hardware includes the following:
- Numerous cutting edge technology
- PC`s and printers
- File server for file sharing
- FTP server for remote file access
- A large number of statistical and graphical shareware
programs at PC platforms
